Responsibilities
Assists with quoting and preparing new logo client proposals for the PSA BDP BDS team by engaging with origin and destination offices, as well as with procurement and tender management
Liaise with local domestic transportation providers to maintain and improve on vendor relationships and ensure market competitiveness
Ensure client rate cards are maintained up to date as needed
Ensure Salesforce is up to date for the country/region
Manage and maintains sales specific campaigns and projects
Creates new customer portfolio by identifying new leads via cold calling, using lead generation tools, and research and analysis
Organize customer visit for the sales team as needed
Communicate with department heads in regard to customer's quoting needs
Conducts good relations with customers and BDP employees
Assists with preparation of sales and marketing related reports upon request for PSA BDP BDS or regional leadership and country management
Assisting with completion of RFI and RFQs as needed
Work with BDS and Operations to develop Standard Operating Procedures as needed
Maintain designated target lists for BDS team
Other Duties as required
Job Requirements
Pre-requisites
Minimum of 1 year business experience in sales support or telemarketing at freight forwarding company
Fluent English written and verbal communication
Computer Skills: Outstanding Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), CRM, and quoting tools
