SAP Consultant (SCM)

SAP Consultant (SCM) will be involved in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA transformation program for customer. The Consultant should have good hands-on experiences on the MM, WM and Inventory Management modules of SAP. He/she will interact with the Client Business and get the requirement to design it in SAP S/4HANA MM & WM. Must possess experience of integrating with other 3PL systems. Must be able to guide the onsite/offshore functional and technical teams. The person should be able to speak/read/write English language fluently.

The SAP Consultant (SCM) should be able conduct workshop at client location to showcase the solution implemented in SAP S/4HANA as per the business requirements. He/she should be proficient in making configuration changes and deployment in latest SAP S/4HANA version.

Experience in Telecom Business will be preferable.

Key Relationships:

Onsite: Client Business, TCS Lead Consultant (SCM) and the rest of the TCS onsite functional/technical team

Offshore: TCS Offshore Project Manager, Offshore functional/technical delivery team

Experiences: 8-10 Years Relevant to the SAP SCM modules (MM, WM) with at least 3 full cycle implementations

Key Responsibilities:

The SAP Consultant (SCM) is responsible for:

• Participate/manage important client engagements regarding the implementation of mainly SAP S/4HANA Inventory, WM along with integration with 3PL systems while stitching the solution from an overall SCM perspective along with Inventory Management.
• Should be able to capture and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Assist/Manage projects independently from blueprint to go-live by applying project management techniques as well as technical and business knowledge to ensure that high-quality results are obtained for the customer.
• Develop a high degree of S/4HANA product knowledge.
• Need to provide consulting advice to customers on financial processes in SAP and understand integration with other modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PS, PM, etc.
• Need to assist customers in the decision process.
• Need to give product trainings to clients.
• Involve in WM, Inventory and integration with 3PL systems related design, development, integration of SAP S/4HANA system.
• Actively share product and functional knowledge within the technical team

Key Performance Indicators:

• Will be decided in consultation with the reporting manager on a period-to-period basis.

Essential:

The SAP Consultant (SCM) must possess:

• SAP S/4HANA SCM Skills in Warehouse Management (WM) and Inventory Management.

Management Skills:

The SAP Consultant (SCM) must be able to:

• Guide the SCM team across onsite and offshore.
• Manage cutover and data migration from inventory perspective.

Interpersonal/Language Skills:

The SAP Consultant (SCM) must be able to:

• Mentor junior associates and able to cross skill others in SAP MM & WM.
• Able to work in teams at onsite and offshore location
• Must be able to interact with Business SMEs
• Must be able to Read/Write/Speak English language fluently.
