Leading the Planning of Projects
JLL has an opportunity for a Project Planner to take responsibility for the overall planning and reporting of progress for regional data centre projects. You will be experienced in greenfield construction and be familiar with using technology and tools to plan, estimate, report risks, resources and track all stages of the project lifecycle. You'll attend project meetings, submit monthly reports, and monitor project budgets, so an eye for detail and a structured approach to tasks will serve you well. Having an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 software is essential for this role.

You'll accomplish this being a key individual in the project team, dedicated to planning and monitoring multiple projects from beginning to end.
You'll work closely with the Client and project delivery teams to make sure the agreed plans stay on track throughout the entire project lifecycle. This may include mediation between stakeholders and other teams to prevent diversions and keep the project objectives on track.
Having one eye on the project and keeping the team on track by being actively involved is key. We achieve are biggest success when working together, so clear communication and influencing skills is key, as is collaboration and teamwork.
What this job involves:
- Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of projects to support the development and implementation of procedures, processes and systems.
- Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members.
- Oversee schedules and risk management plans and provide track scope creep, provide deviations warnings for risks hindering project results.
- Ensure to take appropriate planning measures with all clients to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts and budgets.
- Ensure to convey required project data and information to project teams.
- Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports for management.
- Evaluate and analyze with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them.
- Lead development of baseline schedule and support the Project Manager for establishing Baseline Reviews.
- Gather actual data, update project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from project team.
- Liaise with other project managers, engineers and client to confidently discuss the progress of the projects and address any issues
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors and suppliers to organize the phases of the construction development
- Create, maintain, review and administer construction schedules and plans
- Report and present information for internal meetings on the project
- Must be able to work in a fast-track environment with construction site experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience with technical engineering / construction experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills
- Methodological approach and High Attention to detail
- Proficient in Primavera P6.
