Position: Security Supervisor at Security Operation Center (ONE BANGKOK)
A security supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a security team, ensuring that security policies and procedures are followed, and responding to security incidents. The specific job responsibilities of a security supervisor may vary depending on the employer, but typically include the following:
- Supervising security personnel: responsible for hiring, training, and supervising security personnel, including security guards and other staff.
- Developing and implementing security plans and procedures: work with the security manager or other senior management to develop security plans and procedures for the facility and ensure that they are being followed.
- Conducting security assessments: Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvements.
- Monitoring security systems: The security supervisor will oversee the operation of security systems, such as alarms, cameras, and access control systems, to ensure that they are functioning properly.
- Responding to security incidents: In the event of a security breach or emergency, the security supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the response and implementing emergency protocols.
- Liaising with law enforcement: Work closely with local law enforcement agencies to ensure that they are aware of potential security threats and to coordinate responses to incidents.
- Managing security budgets: Responsible for managing the budget for security operations, including personnel, equipment, and other resources.
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements: Responsible for ensuring that the facility and its security operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement security Supervision and Management or other relevant certifications in the field of security management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of Security Operations Center or Cyber Security experience.(CCTV Control Room)
- Must be willing to work in a setting that incorporates a shift schedule to support 24x7 operations.
- Solid foundation in security management principles, as well as important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication.
- Proven record of success with project management skills for balancing multi-site activities.
- Broad-based knowledge of Security laws and regulations.
- Direct the development, implementation, and monitoring of an effective strategy to mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations, and provide for the safety, environment, sustainability, and security of all parties concerned.
- Ability to effectively and cooperatively interface with peers, colleagues, and clients.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and ability to employ intelligent flexibility.
- A proven record of making presentations and providing effective training.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Available to work in shift.
