Responsibilities:
Accounting Functions
- Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, local statutory reporting, and the tax and statutory authorities.
- Develops and maintains a system of management and accounting reporting.
- Keep an active record of bank accounts, authorized signatures, approved cash levels, and operating funds on file.
- Reviewing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing, and preparing appropriate financial statements and other financial reports.
- Reviewing account reconciliations and resolving accounting discrepancies.
- Responsible for accurate and timely tax filings that was related to the company operation.
- Develops and controls accounting policies and practices.
- Coaching the teams and constantly improving the efficiency of the department in both areas of complex skill and soft skill as well as systems.
- Coordinating with relevant parties such as external auditors, banks, Revenue Department, etc.
Treasury Functions
- Manage cash flow of the company and ensuring correct and on time billing placement, collection, and payment.
- Manage any loan or financing facility with the bank
Management Reporting Functions
- Update management financial reports as required.
- Track and control the usage of budget and other expenses
- Other works as required
Requirement:
- Bachelor's / master degree in accounting
- CPD or CPA is a must.
- At least 7 years of experience in overall accounting functions
- Have good knowledge and understanding of local tax laws
- Experience in managing team is a must.
- Good in English, both speaking and writing.
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Proficient in excel and in standard accounting workflow.
- Good communication skills.
