Senior Associate, Data Analyst (Postpaid Convergence)
(The position is equivalent to Manager level)
The Senior Associate role focuses on supporting analytical initiatives and generating executive reports. This position involves utilizing diverse data sources to create dashboards and provide actionable insights aligned with business objectives. The Senior Associate collaborates with IT and Data Warehouse teams to extract data and streamline processes for various business functions. Proficiency in data analysis and management tools, including SQL, Python, and Tableau, is required. This role emphasizes operational support and effective data delivery to inform decision-making and improve overall performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand business objectives and utilize varied data sources to develop dashboards, draw insights, and provide recommendations with a clear call to action.
- Explore and understand the data warehouse and database structure with varying complexity to lead effective analysis delivery.
- Support data and analysis for executive reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, as well as for ad-hoc business inquiries.
- Work closely with data warehouse and IT teams to extract data and set up processes required for different business functions and analyses.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements by automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
- Handle enterprise-wide large datasets with flexibility in learning new platforms, techniques, and coding languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, or other development platforms/BI tools) for analysis and solution delivery.
- Be proficient in one or more analysis/BI platforms/tools and be flexible to learn additional ones on the job to effectively solve problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a Data Engineer role or a similar position, with experience in Telecom or digital channels analytics being desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, including proficiency in query authoring and familiarity with relational and various other databases.
- Technical skills in Python, Tableau, and other development platforms/BI tools.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to learn new IT technologies while collaborating closely with business teams.
