As we continue to expand our presence, particularly in the Thai market, we are seeking a Senior Business Development to spearhead growth initiatives and build strategic relationships with key industry players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Market Expansion: Take the lead in identifying and driving new business opportunities within the Thai market, with a primary focus on lead generation for e-commerce and digital commerce platform development. Collaborate closely with the Client Account Leads and Business Development Teams to create and execute effective lead generation strategies across multiple channels, including networking, partnerships, digital marketing, and industry events. The goal is to consistently generate high-quality leads, building a robust pipeline that aligns with the company's growth targets in Thailand.
- Sales & Target Achievement: Lead efforts to secure new contracts, negotiate deals, and exceed sales targets for the Thai market.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in e-commerce, retail, and related industries. Lead consultations with clients to understand their business requirements, identifying and defining digital transformation opportunities that align with their goals.
- Proposal & Presentation Development: Lead the creation of proposals, presentations, and sales materials that are tailored to client needs, ensuring we deliver comprehensive solutions that meet their business challenges.
- Consulting & Advisory: Stay abreast of technological advancements and trends in the Thai market, advising clients on the best solutions and strategies for digital commerce and platform development.
- Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development: Develop and manage strategic partnerships with local technology providers, marketing agencies, and key ecosystem partners to strengthen our market presence.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with leadership teams across Southeast Asia (SEA) to expand the team and offerings within Thailand. Work with internal teams, including project management and development, to ensure successful delivery of digital solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within the tech or e-commerce space, with a focus on the Thai market.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem in Thailand, including platforms like Magento and Shopify.
- Communication: Excellent presentation, negotiation, relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Languages: Proficient in Thai and English, both written and spoken.
- Education: Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field (Masters degree is a plus).
