We are looking to fill our Senior Costing Business Analyst for Global Costing Department in our shoe production factory in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
Job Summary
The Senior Costing Business Analyst is responsible for leading efficient product costing processes (market costing) and ensuring timely product costing issuances by integrating technical knowledge with analytical skills.
This role combines the competencies of a costing technician with business analysis to proactively highlight discrepancies to product costing stakeholders, support resolutions, and understand and explain variances by comparing data to relevant previous and similar products with understanding of the costing breakdowns.
The Senior Costing Business Analyst also ensures the costing process strictly adheres to agreed timeline and group requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Lead and Manage Product Costing Processes : Manage and ensure the accuracy of the full product costing process, adhering to agreed timelines and group requirements
- Analyze and Resolve Costing Discrepancies and Variances : Identify and analyze discrepancies in costing data, explain variances, and support stakeholders in resolving these issues
- Optimize and Improve Costing Processes : Identify opportunities for process optimization, support automation, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide Strategic Insights and Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making and provide insights on product performance against financial targets
- Maintain Accurate Documentation and Conduct Ad Hoc Evaluations : Maintain accurate costing records and efficiently manage data, while also conducting and reporting on ad hoc cost evaluations
This role requires a blend of technical costing expertise and business analytical skills to enhance the overall efficiency and accuracy of the costing process for optimal decision making as per agreed financial viability targets.
