Argyll Scott is helping the client seeking for Senior Data Engineering Manager. This role will responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data architecture and ecosystem solutions that support on cloud data environments.
Key Responsibilities;
- Manage a team of data engineers to ensure the successful delivery of data projects and initiatives. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for efficient execution
- Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise data architecture and ecosystem that supports on-premises and multi-cloud environments. Design and develop the E2E data pipeline: data transformation, ingestion, processing, and surfacing of data for large-scale applications.
- Develop data solutions in collaboration with business development, data science and engineering teams. Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate data solutions with systems and applications. Work with data governance team to ensure data integrity, policies and procedures to maintain data quality, security, and compliance standards.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering, including data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data pipeline development. Support in regular performance reviews and provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members
- Work with sales and presale teams to understand clients needs, find solutions, and develop business proposals. Ensure appropriate solutions are proposed to customer and monitor actions and results against plans.
Key Qualifications;
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing data architecture in large-scale enterprise environments
- 5+ years of experience in managing data engineer or data management teams and owning an organization's data function, while working collaboratively with other departments and leadership teams.
- Proven expertise in working with both on-premises and cloud data technologies, having worked on solutions deployed across AWS, Azure or GCP
- Full stack experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, productionisation, and monitoring of ML products
- Understand reports and dashboards requirements, develop data export, data API, or data visualization tools
- Deep understanding of data governance principles, data security, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proven track records in client engagement, relationship building, and project management
- Experience in managing Proof of Concepts and creating solution demonstrations
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (both Thai and English)
