About Company:

Tata Steel Long Products Limited (TSLP), formerly known as Tata Sponge Iron Limited, is in the business of manufacturing high alloy steel, primarily for the auto sector and wire rope industry. With one million tonne capacity, it is one of the largest speciality steel plants in India in the long product segment. The steel plant uses high-quality iron ore from its captive mine enabling it to achieve high consistency in its product quality. The steel plant set up at Jamshedpur is the first steel plant in India to use Hot Metal in Electric Arc Furnace that has become an industry-wide practice now. Besides, the company also manufactures and markets sponge iron for use by the secondary steel sector and has a total capacity of 0.90 million tonnes production units are located in Jamshedpur and Joda. The company also generates power from the latent heat generated inside its furnaces, which is primarily used for captive consumption.

Requirements;

  • Ctc 10 - 12lacs
  • 2 Years full time MBA or PGDM in HR/ Personnel Management/ MSW
  • 2 to 8yrs Experience as HR
  • Well versed with HRM processes, practices, IR Laws, Labour Laws & Compliances, Rules & Regulations (Must)
  • Skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in compensation & Benefits
  • Experience in Statutory Compliances, IR & Labour Laws
  • Experience in HR Strategy
  • Candidates willing to relocate to Joda can be consider
  • Budget is not flexible for this role

Job Description

The Context / Purpose of the Job:

Drive and ensure implementation of BU level HRM Strategy for the Sponge unit of TSLPL

  • Maximize the productivity of the organization by ensuring effective Talent Management
  • Ensure Harmonious Industrial relations with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure execution of administration strategy and plans.
  • Foster a culture of performance, productivity, ensuring employee engagement with focus on diversity & inclusion.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure implementation, monitoring & control of HR Strategy in alignment with business strategy and develop / design HR Policies & process.
  • Maximize productivity of the employees and organization
  • Ensure manpower planning and ensuring availability of talent at right place and time.
  • Coordinate and promote the activities of learning and development for all employees.
  • Drive and implement D&I practices.
  • To ensure facilitation of individual & group reward and recognition.
  • Ensure Harmonious Industrial relations with Union and other stakeholders. Implement actions on joint consultations.
  • To implement employee engagement initiatives,
  • To monitor and comply with all statutory and regulatory compliances.
  • Participate in various allied employee social security implementation through PF Trust, Gratuity Trust & Superannuation Trust.
  • To drive initiatives related to welfare and amenities of employees.
  • Ensure contractor labor management end to end process.

  • Technical Competencies:
  • Well versed with HRM processes, practices, IR Laws, Labour Laws & Compliances, Rules & Regulations
  • Skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
