Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Compliance Audit is a pivotal role dedicated to fortifying the independence of our third line of defense. This individual will collaborate extensively with our Group Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) and Group Internal Audit teams, ensuring rigorous compliance frameworks and protocols are established, maintained, and consistently adhered to, in accordance with both organizational objectives and regulatory stipulations.
Beyond day-to-day tasks, this role involves strategic oversight of GRC's controls and processes. Positioned outside of the GIA and distinct from the GRC compliance team, this role offers an unmatched vantage point to ensure impartiality and robustness in compliance audit processes.
The ideal candidate should possess profound expertise in compliance auditing, with experience rooted in a Big 4 firm or a similar tenure within a reputable blue-chip organization. This role calls for a discerning professional who values integrity, transparency, and the pursuit of excellence in the realm of compliance.
Responsibilities
- Compliance Audits on Specific Topics: Lead and execute comprehensive compliance audits with a pronounced focus on anti-bribery and anti-corruption matters
- End-to-End Audit Oversight: Spearhead the entire life cycle of compliance audits from strategic planning and risk assessment to execution, and finally, control evaluations
- Tackling High-Risk Domains: Directly handle intricate audit projects, channeling resources towards areas with heightened risk exposure
- Meticulous Documentation: Ensure rigorous documentation of all audit processes, outcomes, and the alignment with external regulatory benchmarks
- Audit Methodology Enhancement: Continuously refine and advance the organization's internal audit procedures, tools, and methodologies
- Stakeholder Relationships: Forge, cultivate, and nurture enduring relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders - from senior leadership and external auditors to regulatory authorities
- Audit Feedback Mechanism: Lead constructive dialogues on audit findings and suggestions, ensuring that stakeholders not only understand but also act promptly and effectively to implement the recommended action plans
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in (compliance) auditing, preferably with a Big 4 firm or in-house in a blue-chip company.
- Demonstrable expertise in designing and implementing audit programs and compliance framework
- Experience with using power BI and using data analytics in audits
- Experience in managing audits (developing working papers, liaising with stakeholders, reporting etc.)
- Passionate about anti-bribery and anti-corruption related topics
- Preferably certified by ACFE or IIC
- Impeccable in English
