Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and market demands.
  • Oversee the management of product categories, ensuring optimal assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including product development, positioning, and end-of-life strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, and R&D teams to ensure successful product launches and category performance.
  • Provide support to the sales team by developing sales tools, training materials, and promotional strategies to drive product sales.
  • Monitor and analyze product and category performance, using data to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.
  • Gather and utilize customer feedback and insights to refine product offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets for product development, marketing, and promotional activities to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Drive innovation by identifying new product opportunities and improving existing product lines to meet changing consumer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in product management, category management, product marketing or a similar role within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of the FMCG market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with market research tools and data analytics platforms.
