Job Description
Overseeing site security teams and reporting to the Regional Security Director, the Senior Manager Security will collaborate extensively with local, regional and global partners in the delivery and implementation of the physical security program at sites across the country.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Management and oversight for the implementation, maintenance and development of consistent security programs, procedures, systems and technology, across all sites within country, ensuring the security and safety of Western Digital personnel, visitors, facilities, data and assets
- Provide effective management and leadership to on-site security teams, including supporting the development, growth and performance of their team
- Work closely withkey stakeholders todevelop a comprehensive, consistent, compliant security training and awareness program across sites
- Managerial responsibility for site security performance, KPI's and performance metrics.Oversight of site security financial budget planning and forecasting
- Developand implementimprovement strategies through data analyticsand use of emerging technology.
- Collaborate, communicate and engage with multiple local, regional and global security partners and stakeholders,developing effective working relationshipsto ensure superior operational outcomes, security service delivery and policy alignment
- Oversee delivery of physical security and CapEx projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment to specified strategic objectives, timelines and budget constraints
- Proactively identify security good practice, gaps, vulnerabilities, driving improvement and developmentacross all areas of security delivery, related capital projects, supported events and requests from other business units
- Provide managerial support to multiple internal and external site audits and compliance processes, including the tracking, monitoring and delivery of improvement measures aligned to findings
- Occasional country and regional travel to support sites
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years related work experience within security, safety, and/or risk management, with at least 3 years in a security facing management role
- Experience of leading, developing and growing a diverse, high performing distributed team / workforce
- Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards related to security and safety in a manufacturing environment in Thailand
- Knowledge of security programs and emerging technologies including access control, CCTV systems and related processes in a distributed campus environment
- Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development within the security sector
Preferred:
- Preferred experience is through delivering security programs within a corporate environment. Alternatively, experiencewithin a security organization, law enforcement, military, intelligence, public service or risk management environment would be considered
- Experience of security vendor management including contract negotiation, KPI's and quarterly review
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in security, risk management, safety, business or a related field

- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both Thai and English
- Ability to communicate, collaborate and quickly develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and at all levels of a professional, corporate environment

- A developed, current, professional network of peerthought leaders from within government,security, safety and risk management industry
- Professionally recognised certifications, affiliation, membership and/or recent relevantCPD learning through an accredited safety / security body
- IT skills, with a focus on MS 0365 including SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A requirementto learn and use internal reporting systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
