Senior Project Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation

Introduction:

The Senior Project Sales Engineer Industrial Automation supports Rieckermann Thailand to present, promote and sell automation project and solution for the industrial automation segments. By this activity the Senior Project Sales Engineer Industrial Automation will actively support the Company's growth and success.

Job Duties:

• Generate sales calls and visit existing and potential customers.
• Conduct presentations and demos, proof of concepts and any other related demonstrations as relevant to sales.
• Perform analyses of existing and potential customers needs and offer solutions that address their needs.
• Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions in line with company's standards, rules and regulations or as directed.
• Achieve sales targets on a yearly and quarterly basis.
• Cooperate and coordinate with team members and other departments e.g. Technical Services, Engineering Operations and sales colleagues from other departments, in order to be able to offer solutions that fulfill the customer's needs
• Regular update of CRM system.
• Calculate client quotations.
• Analyze the territory/market's potential and identify potential customers
• Supply management with information on customer needs, problems, interests and competitive activities
• Keep yourself constantly updated on relevant knowledge, trends and best practices Support continuous improvement by pro-actively providing new ideas.
• Provide excellent service to customers by giving undivided attention and focus on meeting their needs.
• Anticipate questions, concerns and future issues and provide solutions which consistently will result in repeated business, word of mouth referrals and increased sales.
• Conduct regular customer visits and presentations to promote Siemens automation solutions. Address customer inquiries, provide technical information, and offer tailored solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project sales, preferably in the automation field of factory automation and/or motion control of Siemens or global brands.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex projects.
• Working well under pressure.
• Working self-reliantly.
• Goal-oriented, dynamic and high sense of responsibility.
• Team and disciplined working spirits.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Effective planning, analytical and implementation skills.
• Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Applications.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Readiness to travel frequently locally and overseas.
