About the Role The core problem of recruiting is matching, how do you take a requirement and find the best candidates for that role. Our engineering team spends most of their time building tools that help our clients and our own account managers to quickly find the right candidates from a pool of literally tens of thousand. The second largest problem in recruiting is that it is a human heavy process and humans can be slow. No, we arent trying to take the human touch out of hiring. But way too much of the low leverage tasks in recruiting are slow. For example, it takes the average recruiter 10 minutes to create and send a calendar invite. Within our platform, its a 30 seconds job. Another example, recruiters spend a massive amount of time in follow-ups checking whether a candidate is interested in an opportunity. We automate those follow-ups through email, whatsapp, and even call reminders. The list can go on and on, but ultimately, our goal is to be able to take any tech job requirement, source relevant candidates immediately, and then help the client fast-track the interview process within days. We are looking for a high-performing engineer to join our engineering team and help us get one step closer. Improving the candidate's onboarding experience; Design systems to ingest candidate-specific data from multiple sources; Analyse the collected candidate data to improve internal processes/outcomes and to generate Transform existing internal manual processes into technical designs and implement them. What you'll work on insights; You may be a fit if you Have 4-6yrs hands-on experience in developing and scaling up web applications; Are comfortable with at least one language (python, ruby, nodejs); Have high focus on providing the user a good experience; Are ready to take on high ownership of product development; Have a keen eye to reduce inefficiencies within the organisation; Have the ability to communicate cross-functionally, understand internal processes across teams, can derive requirements and implement them; Are conscientious. Always on top of your pipeline without a need for reminders or follow-ups; Have the desire to work in a rapidly scaling startup. Good to have Experience with SQL and ability to write complex queries; Exposure to the frontend development flow with complex interactive UI; Experience of React/Angular frameworks; Prior experience working for a product company.
