Job Overview:
The SEO Executive is responsible for improving the company's organic search results, creating and launching SEO campaigns, identifying areas of improvement, and attempting to improve the sites rankings in major search engines.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct on-page and off-page SEO assessments and identify opportunities for growth.
- Optimize website content for search engines as well as user experience improvement.
- Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
- Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages.
- Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects.
- Help to create and support marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g., customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers).
- Implement link building campaigns in coordination with SEO goals.
- Assist in development and execution of communication/content strategies via social communities in coordination with SEO goals.
- Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media, and internet marketing industry trends and developments.
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings.
- Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven SEO experience with a track record of success in improving metrics.
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
- Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEO reports.
- Familiarity with the best tools in the trade.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
