The Role
As a Service Desk Technician at Convatec Thailand, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our global user community. You are responsible for first point of contact to assist on technical issues, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, and empowering our users to maximize their productivity.
ConvaTec supports a
hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones. This role will require flexibility in terms of shifts to accommodate global time zones.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications, with a strong knowledge on Microsoft applications (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.)
- Utilize SCCM and Active Directory to manage user accounts, troubleshoot software/patching deployments, and investigate user access issue
- Global User Support: Provide support to users located globally, assisting with technical issues via phone calls, live chat, and our ticketing system ServiceNow (My Services)
- Monitor and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), delivering timely support and meeting performance targets
- Collaborate with the whole structure of Service Desk to identify and develop improved ways of working, contributing to enhanced service quality
- Follow IT service desk policies, procedures, and best practices
- Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection regulations
Note
- Role will require shift rotation and hybrid work arrangement based in office (Lumpini)
- You will be expected to support operation hours between 10AM - 7PM
Ideal Profile
To Excel In This Role, You Will Have
- Proficiency in Thai language is required. Good written and spoken English is a must.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Passion for IT support roles, experience in handling technical issues is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, infrastructure, and operating systems
- Knowledge with Active Directory/SCCM, Windows eco-system and other related tools, Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or JIRA etc.
- Analytical thinker and problem-solver
- Strong ownership and teamwork skills
