Job Description:
As a Sales Representative at UPS, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within an assigned territory. You will leverage UPSs extensive portfolio of shipping and logistics solutions to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new leads through cold calling, networking, and other sales tactics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
- Understand customer needs and develop customized solutions to meet their shipping and logistics requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support for customers.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with experience selling logistics or transportation services highly desirable.
- Strong prospecting and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate UPSs value proposition to potential customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
