We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our Growth Product Engineering Team. You will work alongside a dedicated team of engineers to drive out bugs, prevent regressions, maintain a test framework and write end-to-end tests for our applications. Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing, integration testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing for our applications. Likewise with security penetration testing.
- Automate testing processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks and end-to-end tests.
- Create scripts to generate test data, ensuring comprehensive coverage of edge cases.
- Develop automation scenarios and scripts for testing code and infrastructure.
- Keep tests up to date as new features are implemented.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test and quality assurance metrics.
- Assist in the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for mobile apps.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field (preferred, but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create well-written bug reports.
- Knowledge of the mobile device landscape.
- Solid understanding of both test engineering and development principles.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript coding.
- Familiarity with testing tools like Playwright, Appium, or Detox.
- Experience with Browserstack.
- Experience with iOS and Android mobile apps.
- Familiarity with testing software and test harnesses.
- Knowledge of closed-box and open-box testing methodologies.
- Experience with API development and tools (e.g., Postman).
