To study all requirement and understand the application that need to be tested
Develop testing scenarios and priority testing activities
Prepare requirement traceability matrix (RTM) , test coverage matrix and Test Data
To work closely and communicate with other teams in software development process to ensure the features/functions are conformed to design specifications.
Conducting the testing, analyze the results, report defects, define severity and priority for each defect
Execute test and carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects
Monitoring and controlling daily test progress
Prepare the test progress and status report
Qualification
Bachelors or masters degree in information technology, Computer Science, or any related field
3+ years of software testing experiences across applications or development platforms.
Knowledge in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes along with knowledge of SDLC
