About the Role
Position: Project Manager
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Employment Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of solar energy projects.
- Manage project budgets and schedules.
- Work with engineers, designers, and construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed to the highest quality standards.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Revaluating unexpected costs
- Managing project teams
- Managing difficult and complex projects
- Planning and scheduling:
The project manager will work with the team to develop a project plan that includes a timeline, budget, and scope of work.
- Procurement: The project manager will be responsible for procuring the necessary materials and equipment for the project.
- Construction: The project manager will oversee the construction of the project, ensuring that it is completed on time, on budget, and to the required standards.
- Commissioning: The project manager will oversee the commissioning of the project, ensuring that it is operational and meets the client's requirements.
- Closeout: The project manager will close out the project, ensuring that all documentation is complete and that all payments are made.
- In addition to these tasks, the project manager may also be responsible for:
- Communicating with the client: The project manager will be the primary point of contact for the client, keeping them updated on the progress of the project and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Managing risks: The project manager will identify and mitigate risks that could impact on the project, such as delays, cost overruns, or quality issues.
- Ensuring compliance: The project manager will ensure that the project complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
HSSE
- Ensure safety is the priority at all work activities and strictly follow all HSSE requirement.
- Supervise and follow up to correct unsafe conditions and actions for safety in the work of employees as reported or as recommended by HSSE officer and/or HSSE committee.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on solar energy
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong technical skills
Ideal Qualifications
High fluency in English and Mandarin (speak/read/write)
