(Sr.) Legal Associate

My client, a prominent Chinese law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Legal Associate to join their Bangkok branch. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal support and services to clients with business interests in Thailand and related cross-border matters.

Responsibilities:

Assist in handling a variety of legal cases and projects for clients operating, including but not limited to corporate law, contract law, M&A and commercial disputes.

Conduct legal research and analysis on Thai laws and regulations, and provide accurate and timely legal advice and solutions.

Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and legal pleadings in both English and Thai languages.

Collaborate with the firm's lawyers and other professionals to ensure seamless legal service delivery and effective communication.

Participate in client meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as required.

Qualifications:

A degree in Law from a recognized institution

Admission to the Thai Bar or eligibility for admission.

Proficiency in English or Chinese, both written and spoken.

At least 2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm.

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast- paced and multicultural environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
