As a Test Project Management & Coordination Engineer, you will perform a new & exciting function within a team that are developing next generational hard disk drive (HDD) Technology, namely Heat Assisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR), though specialized HDD-like tribological Lifetime & Reliability testing. This job will require you to take a lead within the team for providing test project management, coordination and logistical support, coordination of part builds & delivery, test queue planning & management, tester allocation & tester utilization management, failure analysis part coordination, prioritization and timelines, and planning and ordering of materials supplies to support volume testing requirements. You will need to work cross-functionally with teams at the Thailand head operations site, as well as worldwide sites in US, Japan and China. You will be the face of the team for communication to worldwide customers of the testing queue, priority of test cells and predicted completion timelines. Through developing a deep understanding of the technical testing function and knowledge of input cell designs, you will also play the role in assisting with testing reports and data analysis to the team and internal customers. You are an independent problem solver, have good communication, organizational and administration skills, proactive and driven, and able to present to audiences in worldwide calls on a weekly basis. You are able to multi-task to serve the needs for internal customers from differing departments and worldwide sites. You are able to work under pressure and strive to meet critical business deadlines.
