Steel Structural Detailer

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Hands on experience on Tekla-2021 Structures modelling and detailing is must.

Knowledge of steel plant structures and related concepts.

Should have good knowledge of connection details.

Good knowledge of relevant codes & standards.

Complete knowledge of Fabrication drawing and GA.

Good knowledge of drawing scales & dimensioning.

Able to communicate technical issues and interact effectively with the reporting manager.

Experienced in dealing with multiple activities with minimum direction from manager.

Complying with SMS drawing standards or project specific standard for layers and formats.

Should be able to work on AutoCAD in preparing GA & fabrication drawings.

Knowledge on extracting NC files for all part items.

Knowledge on export/import of Tekla Structures data to other software, Plant3D, PDMS, Staad.Pro, etc.

Basic knowledge in MS Office.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of structural 3D models using Tekla Structures from input data.

Preparation of macros in Tekla environment

Providing all type of connections in 3D as per design.

Preparation of structural GA drawings.

Preparation of Steel Structure Assembly Drawings.

Extraction of Steel Structure Shop/fabrication Drawings.

Preparation of BoQ and reports.

Delivery of final GA, Detail & shop/fabrication drawings error free.

IT SKILLS:

Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, MS Office, Naviswork.
