Supply Chain Operations Manager - Health & Life Sciences
Location: Bangkok
We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead and enhance our supply chain operations within the health and life sciences trading sector. This role will involve overseeing key functions, including import-export, customer service, distributor management, supply chain planning, and procurement. The ideal candidate must have strong skills in SAP and experience with SAP implementation, as well as a solid background in the medical device, pharmaceutical industry or FMCG.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage import-export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and health industry standards. Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless cross-border logistics.
- Lead the customer service team to ensure high standards of service, timely order processing, and proactive issue resolution.
- Oversee the full scope of supply chain functions, including planning, inventory management, procurement and order fulfillment, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality standards across the board.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with distributors, suppliers, and logistics partners. Set and monitor KPIs to optimize distribution channels, ensure product availability, and reduce costs.
- Oversee procurement activities, negotiate supplier contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure compliance, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Align sourcing strategies with business needs and industry standards.
- Lead and support SAP implementation efforts across the operation function, identifying and implementing best practices to optimize SAP processes and leverage system capabilities for operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning, ensuring that team members are well-versed and aligned with business goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain or operations management, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or health sciences trading industry.
- Strong proficiency in SAP, with experience in SAP implementation and optimization.
- Solid understanding of import-export regulations, customer service, distributor management, and quality standards specific to the health sciences industry.
- Good command both Thai and English
