Required Skills And Experience:
- 6+ years of demonstrated installation, configuration, and administrative support of Tableau 2019.1 or above.
- Experience in overall architect of tableau such as capacity planning, licensing.
- Hands-on experience on large scale tableau landscape with Tableau Server configuration and maintenance of project, group security, and permissions.
- Experience in integration of tableau with SAP HANA, Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and DB2, Presto, Trino.
- Experience conducting performance testing using tabjolt.
- Hand-on experience on platform Windows & Linux.
- Hand-on experience in internet facing SSL, Load Balancing, DMZ.
- Monitor performance of reports and dashboards and take corrective action to optimize and improve dashboard performance as necessary.
- Work closely and collaboratively with end users, analysts and stakeholders to ensure best practices are being used, proper training is being offered and issues and questions are being answered promptly.
- Run clean-up and create Tableau Server backups. Enforce Tableau Server Security Policies.
- Partner with the infrastructure team to troubleshoot and resolve network/windows Server related issues.
- Serve as backup Server Administrator to install and deploy new versions of Tableau software across all lifecycle environments.
- Create/Modify/Manage Tableau Server Task Schedules. Monitor Tableau Server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements.
- Experience in HPSM process like change/incident & problem.
- Hands-on experience installing and deploying new versions of Tableau software across all lifecycle environments.
- Hand-on experience in the creation and use of visualizations and conducting data analysis. Critical thinking, problem solving and the ability to work independently or collaboratively is required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical/business stakeholders and conversely, communicate business information to a technical audience.
- Experience in adapting to changing environments. Candidate must be willing to exercise patience and be able to adapt and respond to rapidly changing priorities while maintaining a respectful and positive attitude with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting training sessions or facilitating business presentations such as user groups.
- Possess the ability to drive insights into actions that improve the teams service delivery or user experience.
