The Merchant Strategy Team is now finding a teammate to join our young motivated team on this rocketship with the mission to empower merchants with economic opportunities while making lives easier for all Thais. Our team operates with consumer centricity, growth mindset, and intellectual rigor. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of Grabfood. You will have a chance to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty from time to time while overseeing strategic cross-functional initiatives with close interaction with top management.

As a Merchant Empowerment Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Grabfood. This is a new role within our organization, reflecting our commitment to continuously innovate and grow. Your primary responsibility will be to create, develop, and oversee strategic programs that strengthen the partnership between Grab and our merchants throughout Thailand. As a leader of the strategic projects, you will have the unique opportunity to define and shape this role, overseeing all aspects of business identification, strategy, product development, cross-functional cooperation, and execution
The Critical Tasks You will Perform

- Business Identification: Gather information on both qualitative and quantitative fronts and identify opportunities to grow the business. Learn and share findings with peers.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with teams across the organization to develop strategic projects aimed at driving GrabFood's growth and success. This may involve brainstorming sessions, strategy meetings, and regular check-ins to ensure alignment and progress.
- Project Execution: Oversee the execution of these projects, prioritizing the impacts and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined objectives. This will require strong project management skills, including task delegation, timeline management, and resource allocation.
- Mentorship: Guide and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years experience in project management, business analyst, business development or equivalent role
- Capability to organize and integrate overarching plan into project-related
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide win-win solutions for stakeholders
- Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an efficient manner
- Having a competitive edge and thrive in a team environment
- Having an experience in managing a team will be a plus
