Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of mobile applications across multiple platforms and devices.
- Work closely with the product owners, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the mobile applications meet the business requirements and quality standards.
- Manage the mobile application lifecycle, from ideation to release, and provide support and maintenance as needed.
- Define and implement the mobile application delivery strategy and roadmap, aligned with the business objectives and customer needs.
- Manage the mobile application development team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and guidelines for mobile application development, testing, and deployment, using agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the cross-functional teams, such as product management, design, security, and infrastructure, to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of mobile applications.
- Monitor and report on the mobile application delivery metrics, such as quality, speed, and user feedback, and identify and resolve any issues or risks that may arise.
- Conduct research and analysis on the latest trends and technologies in the mobile application domain, and recommend and implement improvements and innovations.
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience in software development and leadership roles, preferably in a hybrid architecture environment building full stack multi-channel applications.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, using agile methodologies and following best practices for design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Strong technical background with expertise in cloud-native solutions, hybrid architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with various mobile application frameworks, tools, and technologies, such as React Native, Firebase, etc.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, designers, testers, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment of vision, requirements, and expectations.
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus.
