Job Summary:
As an Engineering Manager/Solution Architect, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative solutions, leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies and modern architectures. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders, drive technical excellence, and contribute to transformative projects in insurance/healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project planning, risk management, and resolution of complex issues.
- Design and document scalable, secure solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, tools, and frameworks.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Essential Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture or engineering management.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and relevant programming frameworks.
- Advanced project management, stakeholder, and vendor management skills.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in insurance/healthcare systems.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Advanced risk mitigation and issue resolution skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role overseeing technical teams.
