The Technical Sales Director is responsible for driving sales growth through technical expertise and strategic leadership. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and leading a team of technical sales professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Lead and mentor the technical sales team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and achieve goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, particularly at the CEO and C-level, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Serve as a technical expert for the sales team, providing insights and IT solutions to complex customer requirements
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and engineering teams to align sales efforts with company objectives
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in technical sales, with a minimum of 15 years in a leadership role
- Strong background in technology solutions with a focus on projects valued at 50 MB or more
- Experience engaging with C-level executives and decision-makers
- Strong understanding of Technology Solutions for Enterprise business
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex technical information and present it effectively
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Fluently speaking both Thai and English
