Job Description Overview - Technical Sales Engineer (Americas or Europe Timezone) On-Site - Chiang Mai, Thailand)

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. You will have a strong sales background and experience and knowledge in software development. You will work closely with our Outbound Sales and Software QA Testing teams to sell our software products to customers and provide technical support during the sales process. The role will include solo and joint calls, screen-shares, live chats, and pitching to leads and customers. This is an incentive based technical sales support role for our Sales and Support team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales and support teams to identify and qualify new sales opportunities. Work out technical requirements and limitations
  • Work with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions using our products
  • Demonstrate the features and benefits of our software products to prospective customers. Coordinate materials or deck creation solo or with Sales agents
  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage and respond to technical inquiries from customers
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise on our product offering and stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
  • Help to create technical documentation, product specifications, and support documentation
  • Provide feedback to the product development team regarding customer needs, issues.
  • Be an effective communicator with strong technical ability when using Email, Screenshare, Live-Chat and Call platforms directly with clients alone and/or with support from our Sales Specialists.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to resolve any technical issues reported by leads and customers when needed
  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to create technical documentation, product specifications, and support documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Business-fluent or Native proficiency in English
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience providing Technical Support for Software Libraries or equivalent
  • Software Engineer with Sales and/or Technical Support who is eager to work and contact leads.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven track record of successful technical sales and customer support
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Term: Full time Permanent

  • Salary: Depending on skills and experience.
  • Reviews: Review at 3 months with annual appraisal.
  • Vacation: 25 days per year, as per company policy.
  • Notice: 2 months mutual notice (Let's aim to talk openly long before we get to that point).
  • This position is open to Thai Nationals and International candidates. (International candidates will receive free legal services to obtain a work permit and visa supported by the BOI
