Argyll Scott is searching for an experienced and dynamic Trade Marketer for On-Trade Channels to join our client's team in Thailand. This role is pivotal in driving their brand presence and sales in the on-trade sector, including bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the alcohol industry, strong acumen, and the ability to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies for on-trade channels to achieve sales targets and enhance brand visibility.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with on-trade customers, including bar owners, restaurant managers, and nightclub operators.
- Negotiate and execute trade agreements and promotional activities with on-trade partners.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing programs, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the seamless execution of promotional campaigns.
- Measure the impact of promotional activities on sales and brand perception.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all on-trade channels.
- Develop and implement training programs for on-trade staff to enhance their knowledge and advocacy of our brands.
- Work closely with the brand marketing team to align on-trade activities with overall brand strategy.
- Prepare regular reports on trade marketing activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Utilize data and insights to make informed decisions and recommendations for future trade marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in the alcohol industry.
- Proven track record of managing on-trade channels and driving sales growth.
- Strong understanding of the on-trade environment in Thailand.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
