Trade Marketing Manager
PURPOSE
The Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective trade marketing strategies to drive sales and market share for raw and processed chicken products. This role will require a deep understanding of the FMCG industry, as well as the ability to analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute trade marketing plans that align with overall business objectives and guidelines for APAK including assortment, distribution, pricing, promotion, shelving, and merchandising.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Allocate, control and review budget based on channel strategy and ensure effective implementation and analyze the program's result.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive product placement and promotion across channels.
- Lead the development the conceptual selling idea for the initiative launch and execution of in-store and on-shelf marketing activities, including point-of-sale materials and merchandising displays.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of trade marketing initiatives.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing campaigns, performance analysis and category trends.
- Analyze and work closely with cross functions to conduct business review report to monitor sales KPIs; Volume, Revenue, Gross Margin
- Identify opportunities and develop action plans for sales team
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the FMCG industry, with a preference for applicants from an MNC environment.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or other related fields
- Proven experience in trade marketing and category management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other marketing tools
- Strong negotiation skills, analytical and passion to drive sales growth.
- Fluent in both Thai and English.
- The successful candidate must be driven, self-starter, problem-solver, strong strategic orientation, excellent interpersonal skills, networking, ability to work independently, self-motivated, pro-active, and creative in getting things completed is required for this role.
- Conversant with presentation and analysis tools as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Words and PowerPoint is required for this role.
- Able to travel to overseas for short business trips.
