Job Description

Position

KEY FUNCTION:

As the Training Manager, Thailand, you will work closely with the Senior Training Manager, SEAO to define the training needs of the retail teams for your market based on business needs, design, implement and deliver training and learning interventions to elevate the skills, knowledge and capabilities of our retail teams. You will partner closely with the retail teams to increase business performance, client satisfaction and ensure excellent service quality standards for your region.

Profile

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify training needs of your markets, curate and implement training interventions to support retail teams to achieve their business goals
  • Design, develop and deliver effective in-person and virtual training programs relating to brand knowledge, collections, selling ceremony and client experience
  • Deliver training programs with local adaptation to support the needs of the retail teams, not limited to new store openings, product knowledge, CRM, selling skills training, local & regional workshops.
  • Adapt and execute the new hire induction program and work with Store Managers / Training Ambassadors to ensure impactful onboarding journeys.
  • Prepare and adapt training materials necessary for the respective training programs
  • Conduct post training follow-up with participants to ensure effectiveness of the program and reinforce the application of skills learned in training activities
  • Conduct in-store observations, role plays, and coaching for Retail teams to ensure high standards of client service and knowledge to support them in meeting their objectives
  • Propose, plan and manage annual training budget for your market and monitor its expenses
  • Work closely with Central for the implementation of global training initiatives & programs
  • Select and manage external training suppliers to carry out defined training programs where necessary
  • Plan and implement projects to support retail learning e.g. retail seminars, retail recognition programs, store teambuilding, etc.
  • Collaborate with SEAO Training Team to implement specific learning interventions from time to time for the region

Additional information

Expectations:

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Business or related disciplines
  • 6 years of training experience in a retail environment, ideally in luxury fashion
  • Experience in facilitating both product and soft skill training
  • Candidates who are Certified Trainers will be advantageous
  • Passion to develop, motivate and help others achieve performance goals
  • Strong business acumen with field coaching experience in luxury retail industry
  • Good understanding of retail and strong client service mindset
  • Energetic and pays attention to details
  • Excellent planning, presentation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Creative and able to think out of the box
  • Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel, Powerpoint and Teams)
  • Knowledge of and ease with digital learning platforms
