Roles and Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished video product
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of final videos
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements
- Maintain video library organization and backups
- Add effects, graphics, and animation to enhance the video content
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for Instagram Reels that align with our brand's aesthetic and objectives.
- Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for reels.
- Select and incorporate appropriate music, transitions, and effects to enhance the video content.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited content while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and platform updates to optimize content performance on Instagram
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a video editor, preferably with a focus on Instagram or other social media platforms.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Instagram's features and best practices for creating engaging reels.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to track and analyze content performance on Instagram.
