Follow up, review, and provide strategic guidance to department managers and section heads, ensuring smooth operations across all construction activities.
Develop and implement operational guidelines, establishing quality standards and performance targets for both internal teams and external contractors to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Oversee and verify the quantity of work and associated costs for each construction project, ensuring alignment with project goals and budget constraints.
Review and monitor the development and execution of contracting agreements, ensuring they meet company standards and legal requirements.
Ensure effective utilization of the allocated construction budgets, consistently monitoring expenditures to prevent overspending and optimize cost management.
Regularly report on project progress, operational challenges, and propose solutions to the department's leadership.
Actively carry out special tasks and projects as assigned by the department director, contributing to the achievement of the company's broader strategic goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in construction, or experience in construction supervision in the retail industry.
Ability to travel to work outside of the province on occasion.
Strong Construction work project, Cost control and Master timeline.
Possession of a Professional Engineer's License (P.E.) will be given special consideration.
