Position: Business Analyst

Department: Irrigation Industry

Reports To: Manager

Location: Vadodra, Gujarat

Principle Responsibility:

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

Conduct detailed interviews, workshops, and surveys with stakeholders to elicit requirements.

Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional requirements for IT teams.

Document and maintain requirements using tools like Jira, Confluence, or other project

management software.

• Process Improvement:

Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement.

Develop process maps and business process models.

Recommend and implement solutions to optimize business processes.

• Data Analysis:

Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support business decisions.

Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.

Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to drive business growth and efficiency.

• Project Management:

Support project planning and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within

scope.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of solutions.

Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

• Stakeholder Management:

Serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.

Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding

and agreement.

Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to update on project status and gather feedback.

• Testing and Quality Assurance:

Assist in the development of test plans and test cases.

Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure requirements are met.

Identify and document defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.

• Industry Preferred:

Micro Irrigation, Agricultural Inputs like Seed, Fertilizers & Pesticides, Agricultural Equipment's Industry

Qualification:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CBAP, PMP) is a plus.
